The Village of Hinckley has a rich and proud history, which includes, hosting the first Harlem Globetrotters Game in 1927 and being home to the iconic Dairy Joy—a place inspiring people to drive up to 25 miles for their burgers, beefs and confections! Founded in the 1830s by a man from Mr. Hollenbeck of Chicago, it now contains the privately owned Hinckley Airport, base to Chicagoland Skydiving Center and Windy City Soaring.
